Sorry for slacking off the past couple of weeks reminding everyone about Alaska Wing Men, but Lee’s Sea Air fans must tune in for this weeks episode! From national Geographic’s description:
The arrival of summer brings drastic change to Alaska and our pilots, as they cater to seasonal tourists, fight wildfires, and access the tallest peak in North America.
This week you will see Lee “Big” Staheli, Zaz, and her son Joe taking care of the landing strips utilized throughout their travels in Northwest Alaska. Remember, not everywhere has nicely paved road… so the Lee’s Sea Air crew needs to tend to their gravel runways from mother nature, or from the destruction of the Alaskan wildlife.
Alaska Wing Men airs tonight, Friday at 8pm and 11pm; Eastern and Pacific times.
